| I am a devotee of those larger terminal eight descenders as they allow you to tie off ropes and even pass knots wherever ropes are joined with very little downside, as others have noted. the fabric is light-weight, however it's a touch heavier than a customary eight which can augment your overall weight. Still, its skillfulness outweighs the insufficient additional weight in my opinion. In all, an excellent larger eight descender, that I received for an easy review.
